About the Role We are looking for a skilled Charge‑Up Operator to join our underground mining team. In this role, you will safely and efficiently carry out all aspects of development or production charge‑up operations. Relocation support of up to $10,000 is offered for those wanting to live locally in Cobar. Alternatively, if you live within an 800 km radius of the Peak Mine site, you can DIDO with a travel allowance. FIFO is currently under consideration. Roster: 7/7 Day & Night Shift (14/14 under consideration). Location: Peak Mine – Cobar NSW. Key Responsibilities Safely and efficiently carry out all development charge‑up operations. Handle, transport, and use explosives as per regulations. Prime, load, and detonate charges accurately. Conduct inspections and report hazards or misfires. Work closely with the underground team to meet production targets. Qualifications and Experience Minimum 4 years of underground mining experience. NSW Blasters User Explosives Licence (BUEL). Security Clearance (UHL). NSW Work Safely at Heights Certificate. Current unrestricted C Class Drivers Licence.
