As the successful applicant, you will play a key role in: Providing culturally appropriate health education, advocacy, and support for Aboriginal young people. Being an active member of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, working closely with Nursing, Medical, Hand Therapy, and Administration staff. Developing and enhancing your clinical skills in hand‑injury care. Maintaining a patient‑focused approach in all aspects of care. Working Monday to Friday within a supportive and structured clinical setting. Selection Criteria This is a Targeted Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Position. Demonstrated recent experience as Enrolled Nurse in an environment appropriate to the relevant speciality. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needs. Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise. Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of evidence‑based nursing care.
