About the Role As the IT Manager , you will bridge the gap between technology and construction operations. This is a highly collaborative, hands‑on role where you will own the company's software platforms, digital infrastructure, and data systems across all remedial operations. Working directly with Senior Leadership, Project Managers, Estimators, and Site Teams, you will analyse existing workflows to eliminate inefficiencies through automation, smart software integration, and emerging AI technologies. Key Responsibilities Systems Leadership: Oversee the implementation, integration, and ongoing management of construction management software, ERP systems, project delivery, and reporting tools. Process Optimisation: Analyse existing business workflows to identify bottlenecks, streamline project delivery, and drive automation/AI initiatives. Data & Analytics: Develop and maintain high-level dashboards and reporting tools to assist senior management with strategic decision‑making and performance tracking. Field & Mobile Integration: Support and optimise field‑based mobile technology to improve site reporting, defect management, safety compliance, and QA. Stakeholder Engagement & Training: Provide technical support, system onboarding, and ongoing training to both office‑bound and regional site‑based staff. Vendor Management: Coordinate with external software providers, IT consultants, and tech vendors to ensure systems are maintained, upgraded, and operating at peak performance. Security & Continuity: Ensure data integrity, cybersecurity compliance, and robust business continuity processes are strictly maintained. Strategic Planning: Partner with executive leadership to align the overall technology strategy with long‑term business growth and scalability. About You To be successful in this role, you will be a tech‑savvy problem solver who loves breaking down complex processes and translating them into smart digital solutions. Industry Experience: Proven experience managing business systems, ERPs, or digital transformation initiatives specifically within the construction, engineering, or remedial building sectors. Tech Capabilities: Strong understanding of construction management software, document control platforms, and data analytics/dashboard tools (e.g., PowerBI). People Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior executives, negotiate with external vendors, and patiently coach site‑based teams. Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead system rollouts from initial scope and planning through to testing, training, and post‑implementation support. Work Style: Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
