The Role Mining Supervisor An opportunity exists at our operation for a Mining Supervisor to join our team. As an integral member of the mining team, you will provide strong leadership to drive a high‑performance, safe and productive work culture, role‑model and reinforce the behaviours that will underpin the success of our operation. Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, you will be primarily responsible for: Leading a collaborative and diverse crew; Working closely with all stakeholders to ensure the safety of your team; Ensuring production targets are achieved; Ensuring costs are controlled and mining schedules are followed. About you To be successful in this role you will have: A NSW Open Cut Examiners Practicing Certificate; Extensive knowledge of NSW coal mining and WH&S statutory obligations; Evidence to support the maintenance of competence for the Practicing Certificate; Knowledge of hydraulic shovel and excavator operations. The ideal candidate thrives on identifying continuous business opportunities and demonstrates a high concern for the health and safety of others, maintaining a safe workplace by actively following safety systems and ensuring adherence to all company HSEC policies and legislative requirements.
