About the Role RCH is recruiting for two full‑time positions in the Physiotherapy Department, each 80 hours/1.0 FTE per fortnight. The positions are part of the Paediatric Rotation Program (PRP), which rotates you every four months through specialty areas. During the PRP you will provide physiotherapy services to children and adolescents as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring evidence‑based, child‑and‑family centred care. Classification ranges from VA3 (Grade 1, Year 1) to VA7 (Grade 1, Year 5). Base salary is $70,590 – $85,872.80 per annum FTE, plus superannuation. What You'll Achieve Provide evidence‑based physiotherapy services to patients referred by designated units in collaboration with supervising clinicians. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver a holistic, streamlined approach to care that best meets the needs of the patient and their family. Work flexibly and participate in other duties as allocated, ensuring adequate cover and clinical care across the Physiotherapy Department. Achieve and maintain competency in relevant skills in line with departmental requirements. Your Skills and Experience Hold a Physiotherapy degree from an accredited course/university and be registered to practice as an AHPRA‑registered Physiotherapist. For experienced physiotherapists, demonstrate work experience in large hospitals with high acuity caseloads. For new graduates, show successful completion of placements in large hospitals with high acuity caseloads. About the Department The Physiotherapy Department is part of the PRP with rotations in the following areas: Critical Care Respiratory Medicine Critical Care and Respiratory Medicine Neurosciences Oncology and Neurodevelopment Orthopaedics Haematology, Rheumatology and Burns Reliever What We Offer Salary packaging option with SmartSalary – up to $11,500 per annum.
