Deputy Site Manager Reporting directly to Senior Manager, Centralised delivery, this role is responsible for providing end-to‑end operational leadership across a 24‑hour shift‑based model to support delivery of the 2026 Victorian State Election. About the team Leading the development of innovative changes in electoral services aligned with long‑term election‑delivery strategies Managing the register of electors to ensure Victorians enrol and maintain their enrolment details and to produce accurate electoral rolls for elections Leading operational planning, preparation and delivery of elections, by‑elections and countbacks Delivering large‑scale and time‑critical projects including procuring election venues and resources and developing electoral systems and voting services Recruiting, training and supporting thousands of temporary election staff Developing procedures, manuals, handbooks, forms and online learning products for election staff, candidates and scrutineers Day in the life of a Deputy Site Manager As Deputy Site Manager, you will help lead day‑to‑day operations at CAS+ during the SE2026 General Election. A typical shift may include coordinating counting and postal vote activities, supporting workforce management, monitoring operational risks, and responding to issues in real time to keep operations running smoothly. You will work closely with Team Leaders and other operational areas to maintain a safe, secure and efficient election delivery. The role operates within a 24‑hour shift environment and may require acting on behalf of the Site Manager during peak periods or operational incidents.
