We are a Mining Title Consultant company which is a leader in mining tenement management throughout Australia and has been servicing the exploration and mining industry for over 35 years. We are currently seeking a professional Geologist who is experienced in tenement and title dealings throughout Australia. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is switched on and reliable to fit into our team. The position will be full time and based in Wangara, Western Australia. Key Responsibilities Providing sound advice to clients on a range of subjects via interpretation of the Mining Act 1978 and Mining Regulations 1981. All aspects of mining tenement management including: Applications for mining tenements. Preparation and lodgement of statutory requirements and compliance reports. Preparation of geological technical reports, including MINEX and WAMEX annual reports, final surrender reports and letters in lieu or reports. Compilations, QA/QC and interpretation of geological, geochemical and drilling data, including preparation of SURF data files, plan and cross-sections. Preparation of Mineralisation reports and Supporting Statements for mining lease applications. Preparation and management of Mining Proposals, Mine Closure Plans (including MP-MCPs and MDCPs), Rehabilitation and Environmental Managements Plans. Preparation and submission of environmental and compliance reports including Annual Environmental Reports (AERs), Mining Rehabilitation Fund (MRF) reporting and clearing permit documentation. Preparation and management of Programs of Work (PoWs), including risk assessments, excess tonnage applications and associated correspondence with the Department. Desktop geological and environmental studies, including use of Tengraph, GeoView, Mineral Titles Online, aerial imagery (e.g. Nearmap, Google Earth) and other relevant databases. Liaison with clients, regulators and other stakeholders in relation to reporting, approvals, inspections and compliance actions. Ideal Candidate Experience working in mining tenement management. A high level of knowledge of the Mining Act and Regulations with the ability to apply this knowledge in a broad range of situations. Experience in preparation of geological, technical and environmental reports for submission to DMIRS and other regulators. Database management experience with software similar to Lease Control and MT Audit would be looked upon favourably. High competency in Microsoft Office, Mineral Titles Online and Tengraph. Excellent time management, written and verbal communications as well as organisational skills. Strong attention to detail. A commitment to excellent client service. Self‑motivated and driven.
