The Sydney site is a complex, high-volume operation and plays a critical role within the broader national supply chain. THE POSITION Reporting to Executive, the Operations Director will lead end‑to‑end operations for the Sydney site and hold full accountability for NSW performance, including P&L ownership. This role goes well beyond plant leadership. You will take a holistic supply‑chain view across manufacturing, engineering, quality, sanitation, continuous improvement, logistics and inventory. You will ensure operational delivery aligns with the 3–5 year strategic plan and supports the evolving needs of the commercial and IBP/S&OP process. Key focus areas Developing and executing the long‑term operational vision for NSW Leading a workforce through a strong safety‑first culture Driving capital execution, infrastructure upgrades and master planning Embedding lean manufacturing and CI disciplines to improve asset performance Owning financial performance including cost control, labour optimisation and budget delivery Partnering with sales, marketing and supply chain to align operational capability with consumer trends Building leadership capability and strengthening succession depth across the site You will lead a senior team including the Plant/Factory Manager, Engineering Manager, Quality Manager, CI/Operational Excellence Manager and Sanitation Manager, providing the strategic direction and coaching support required to lift overall site capability and performance. This role requires someone who can seamlessly move between strategic thinking and hands‑on operational leadership, while maintaining a strong focus on measurable outcomes.
