We are seeking a passionate and thorough Accounts Officer to join our administration team in a part-time (0.6 FTE), ongoing position commencing as soon as possible . The successfulcandidate will play a crucial role in maintaining financialrecords, managing accounts receivable and payable, and ensuringaccurate financial reporting. This is more than just an accounting role; it is a meaningfulopportunity to faithfully steward the College’s resources withintegrity and care. Through your diligence, you will help sustainthe daily life and long-term mission of the College - strengtheninga community where students can learn, grow, and flourish. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accounting records, includingreceipting, banking, accounts payable/receivable, and generalledger data. Work predominately with accounts receivable includingparent charges and credits, invoicing commercial accounts,parent payment plans and working with families to collectschool fees. Produce monthly accounts receivable reports incollaboration with the SCEA office to supportdecision-making. Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts,and analyse financial data to provide insights to the BusinessManager. Contribute to the Administrative Team by deliveringconsistent service and providing frontline support whenrequired. Assist with general administrative duties and supportbroader team operations as needed. Essential Selection Criteria Demonstrate a committed Christian faith, activelysupporting and contributing to the Christian life of theCollege. Align with the Association’s Statement of Faith, ChristianLifestyle Statement, and educational objectives. High level of customer service with strong personalpresentation and professional telephone manner. Strong organisation, communication, and interpersonalskills, with the ability to follow directions and showinitiative. Exceptional multitasking and time management skills,working efficiently and effectively. Accounts Officer experience or qualifications, with solidfinancial process knowledge and strong Microsoft Office 365skills (and willingness to learn new systems). Current Working with Children Check, and Department of Education Criminal History Check (or willingness toobtain).
