Be part of an innovative agile global organisation About the role We are currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planner to join a dynamic, successful, motivated team based in Mount Kuring‑gai and reporting to the Supply Chain Manager. In this exciting role, you will manage and co‑ordinate forecasting and purchasing activities, quality of materials purchased, reliability of supply and timeliness of delivery. It encompasses set up and management of systems / programs, preparation, planning, implementation, and review of procedures. In addition, the Senior Supply Chain Planner works closely with internal departments and external warehousing service providers. Specifically, you will be responsible for Client Liaison: Building relationships with internal and external customers, liaising with operations and sales staff to action import and export requests Stock Management: In driving the sales and operations planning process, you will develop inventory and purchase planning, forecasts, batch sizes, lead times and safety stock requirements for various suppliers along with preparing monthly stock reports. Finance, Systems and Administration Knowledge and Compliance If you are a great communicator, have a strong background in Supply Chain and enjoy working with an awesome team, then this role is for you! What we are looking for Knowledge of SAP - APO module is advantageous Experience in S&OP Planning Meetings At least 2 years pharmaceutical industry experience or previous supply and/or purchasing experience Sound knowledge of importation and shipment procedures especially in multinational/multiplan environment Experience in forecasting strategies Good understanding of hospital sales environment Experience of direct dealings and negotiations with suppliers/vendors TAFE or degree qualifications in logistics Benefits And… Fresenius Kabi values our employees!
