Department of Health, Hospitals & Primary Care – Hospitals Nth, Launceston General Hospital The Role: The Tasmanian Health Service seeks qualified Registered Nurses to join the LGH Nursing Pool on a permanent basis to support Medical, Surgical, Specialty, Rural, and Midwifery areas. The Launceston General Hospital is a 300‑bed teaching hospital situated in central Launceston in the North of Tasmania. Pool Nursing at the LGH General Hospital is diverse and dynamic within a supportive environment. Applicants are required to have experience that lends itself to working across several areas. Details of appointment: Multiple, permanent, full‑time, shift worker positions, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date. For a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full‑time, part‑time, and casual vacancies. Salary: Salary range is $80,524 to $109,175 per annum (Pro‑rate). Access to the Grade 4 salary range $102,439–$109,175 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: Post‑Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type. Salary Packaging: Salary package includes living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible. Benefits available to eligible candidates: Travel and relocation assistance support up to $15,000 for overseas appointees and up to $10,000 for interstate appointees.
