The Role We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Network Support Officer to maintain the school’s Information Technology (IT) network, support education and administrative outcomes, and provide technical support and training to all users across the school. Responsibilities Maintain the school’s IT network and ensure operational integrity. Provide technical support for desktop and software application users. Deliver user training and support procedures. Implement and maintain data security strategies to protect educational and administrative data. Coordinate with the Department of Education ICT support to resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Qualifications Good analytical and problem‑solving skills relevant to network maintenance. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience in guiding and implementing user‑training procedures. Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to plan and implement data security procedures. Eligibility Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment. Must obtain a valid Working With Children Check before starting. Must consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before starting.
