Risk in Change Manager – Australian Payments Plus Location: Sydney, NSW, AU Contract: 12‑month maximum term About the Role Based in Sydney, the Risk in Change Manager role sits within the Line 1 Business Risk Hub and works closely with Group Risk and Business Risk teams to deliver Risk in Change outcomes. The role requires strong experience in risk management, change, and project environments, with a demonstrated ability to lead Risk in Change for complex initiatives and mitigate change‑related risks. Responsibilities Lead Risk in Change assessments across all programs. Identify, prioritise and mitigate delivery and change risks. Embed risk practices into project and change frameworks. Advise senior leaders on risk impacts of programs and transformations. Deliver concise risk reporting and recommendations. Monitor and adjust mitigation strategies. Enhance Risk in Change processes and capability. Embed best practice across delivery teams. Support RBA engagement on material changes. Review and contribute to regulatory submissions. Experience & Requirements Minimum 7 years’ experience in risk management, with proven line 1 Risk in Change Manager capability. Demonstrated success managing complex change initiatives and mitigating delivery risk. Experience in technology‑enabled programmes; payments or financial services experience highly regarded. Strong analytical capability and strategic judgement. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including executive‑level reporting. Solid working knowledge of risk and change management frameworks, tools and methodologies. Relevant tertiary qualification in risk, finance, business or a related discipline; professional certifications preferred.
