Our Community Specialist Palliative Care Service supports clients and their families with life limiting illnesses at home. The focus is on quality of life through managing complex symptoms. Supporting complex care at home requires nurses that have specialist abilities relating to assessments and management of clients with changing needs. Are you a Registered Nurse with at least two years nursing experience and interested in joining our Specialist Team? This role may suit you! This role will see you providing services to clients within Perth South Metro areas and your base to collect consumables and attend meetings will be either Maddington or Peel . Ideally, we would be looking to recruit into 0.8 FTE – Full Time positions. For this role you will have the flexibility to cover over 7 days per week, days and evenings (shift work will attract penalty rates). Night shifts will be on an occasional basis. In addition to an extensive orientation and education program, you will have the opportunity to work as a part of an interdisciplinary team providing palliative care within the community. Employee EAP Program. What we’re looking for You will be an experienced, multi‑skilled Nurse. Using your exceptional clinical assessment, decision‑making and problem‑solving skills and abilities, you will provide an optimum standard of care to our clients. You must have 2+ years of Post Grad nursing experience. Acute Care experience would be most desirable. Strong interest and some experience in Palliative Care. Current Registration with AHPRA with zero notations. Current Working with childrens Check. Great organisational and time management skills. Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach. Excellent Communicational skills both Verbal and written. A current Full Australian driver’s licence.
