We are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our South Australian Geotechnical and Tunnels team, playing a pivotal role in delivering innovative projects for a broad client base. Responsibilities Undertake and lead all facets of geotechnical investigation and design projects. Mentor and guide junior team members fostering their professional development. Develop strong client relationships contributing to their long‑term success. Lead geotechnical investigations with strong technical oversight. Prepare geotechnical reports and provide design input. Mentor junior engineers and support their professional growth. Contribute to and/or lead proposals and tenders. Build trusted client relationships and deliver smart, value‑driven solutions. Identify and manage project risks across technical and contractual areas. Produce clear, high‑quality technical reports and recommendations. Be based in our Adelaide office with flexibility and occasional travel, inclusive of remote and interstate opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Geotechnical, or closely related discipline) or equivalent qualification. 2+ years’ experience in geotechnical investigation, reporting, and design. Strong communication skills and confidence in client‑facing roles. Experience mentoring junior team members. Demonstrated ability to apply modelling software and/or analytical techniques (such as PLAXIS, FLAC, SLIDE, gINT, or similar) to solve complex geotechnical challenges.
