About the role The Clinical Manager is a key leadership role for the facility located at our Peter Cosgrove House, Narrabeen. The role provides clinical leadership and oversees all aspects of the Clinical and Care practice, delivering high‑quality care to the community and managing collaborative care planning in partnership with residents and their representatives. The Clinical Manager supervises nursing and care teams, manages the local clinical governance framework, and plays a central role in the quality improvement cycle for the facility. Reporting to the Facility Manager, responsibilities include: Driving a positive internal culture among the team of nurses and care staff Ensuring clinical and care team members embed quality care and clinical governance systems and processes aligned to the LifeCare Way Supporting cost‑management initiatives within the facility, aligning labour costs with income streams such as AN‑ACC Developing care plans, establishing optimal, quality lifestyle goals and ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Standards Leading engagement with key clinical stakeholders including resident families, suppliers and referring clinicians About You Current AHPRA registration as a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, no conditions placed upon registration Minimum five years’ postgraduate clinical experience within health care, aged care or a related environment Experience motivating teams, managing performance and delivering on accountabilities Sound financial acumen for managing budgets Experience managing compliance with regulatory standards Excellent verbal and written communication skills Benefits Not‑for‑profit tax benefits – salary packaging up to $15,900 per year Staff discounts across 700 select retail stores through Maxxia Rewards Team‑building activities, wellbeing days and volunteering opportunities Leave Loading – 17.5% pay top‑up on paid leave Pre‑Employment Requirements It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the aged care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or both, to undertake the inherent responsibilities of the role.
