DACHSER Oceania comprises of locations in Australia and New Zealand. Due to our growth, we are seeking to appoint an additional Business Development Manager based in Melbourne. COLLABORATE: your responsibilities Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities. Establish and maintain a pipeline of new business and strive to achieve agreed sales targets. Conduct client visits, presentations, and negotiations to close deals and secure new business. Work closely with operations, customer service, and pricing teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients. Maintain up-to-date market knowledge and deliver this knowledge to our client base. Preparation of sales-related reports, proposals and presentations. Keep company CRM records updated and current. A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in international freight forwarding (business development or similar role). A passion for building relationships, working with customers and driving results.
