Overview Hygiene Advisor (8:6) at Westgold Resources Limited. Permanent 8 days on, 6 days off roster, based in all Westgold operations (Northern and Southern). Responsible for development, implementation, maintenance and monitoring of Occupational Hygiene requirements. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with statutory Occupational Hygiene requirements for dust, fumes, noise, diesel particulates, biological agents, heat stress and vibration across all operations. Monitor and evaluate hygiene data to support compliance with the site Hygiene Management Plan. Assist in the development of Occupational Hygiene documentation. Undertake control verification activities. Provide expert and practical advice on hygiene controls to Westgold sites. Complete tasks as directed by the Hygiene Superintendent. Qualifications Certificate IV in Surface Ventilation Officer (required). Noise Officer or Audiometric qualifications. Demonstrated experience in hygiene projects or related technical fields. Health surveillance experience. Attention to detail and self‑motivated with ability to work autonomously. Degree of Science in Occupational Hygiene Practices (desirable). Experience in the mining sector within the Health and Safety field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. C‑class driver’s licence. 12‑month valid National Police Clearance.
