As a business, we’re experiencing rapid growth, and as such are on the hunt for our next sales superstar, who will lead the account management and business development functions of our business. We specialize in supporting industries involved in construction, manufacturing, transport & logistics, and a variety of other roles across both blue and white collar. About the Role We are seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates for a Sales & Operations Lead position. This role will be a leadership position within or team, and will be primary responsible for driving new business across labour hire and recruitment initiatives, as well as managing and servicing a group of key accounts across the different industry sectors we operate in. The role will be a full-time position, with great flexibility. Due to the nature of the role and the hands‑on approach in working with clients, you will be required to be on the road frequently visiting clients, as well as driving new business. We also offer a hybrid working model which is built of a combination of working from home, visiting clients in person, and working from our shared office facilities. Key Functions Business Development Lead a sales strategy that is built out in conjunction with our company Director, which prioritizes growth in the sectors we have specialist experience in. Work towards a set of KPI’s structured around revenue growth. Work with our team on industry priorities – namely major construction project and infrastructure projects. Full 360 sales cycle, from initial contact, to RFP/tender to servicing. Managing a sales budget which works towards revenue and profit targets. Work in tandem with our recruitment team to ensure that profitability is maximized through our recruitment practices. Offer advice and industry insights on new business and growth opportunities. Integration of your own personal network into our business will be highly regarded. Ensure we are efficiently capturing and converting all inbound leads that reach the business – ie. inbound calls, general email inbox, general referrals. Account Management End to end management of a series of our key accounts, primarily across the manufacturing, engineering and logistics sectors. It is always critical to prioritize current key accounts recruitment requests – we are a recruitment firm first and foremost, so ensuring all jobs from active clients are filled remains our number one priority. Develop a retention plan which is built out to ensure our customers are receiving an industry‑leading standard of service. Maintain a physical presence across the full range of clients we work with, designed around a monthly calendar of site visits. Ensure all customer requests and requirements are prioritized and responded to efficiently, in conjunction with our recruitment team. Consistently review practices on the way we manage our key accounts, and take the initiative to offer suggestions to drive efficiencies with our clients. Work with our key accounts on ensuring new staff are on‑boarded, inducted to site accurately, and aware of their obligations to their employers before they commence work. Ensuring we work with all key accounts on ensuring their workplaces are safe for our workers, and minimizing any possible instances of workplace injuries is a high priority. You will lead a team of recruitment assistants (based off‑shore) You will also have a direct report from our operations & payroll team You will be able to offer advice, guidance, motivation and leadership to our operations team in addition to you other duties Contribute to ensuring our team culture is always prioritised, and that we endeavour to make it an employer of choice, and fun work environment General Requirements Work as part of a broader team to ensure towards our vision and common goals. General day to day support for our marketing and brand initiatives may be required. General administration support may be required – ie. Data entry of CRM applications, work with our finance team on debtors and creditors, work with our OHS consultant team on maintaining workplace incidents. Desired Experience 5+ years experience in a business development or sales environment, preferably within the labour hire and recruitment industry (however, this is non‑essential). Proven track record in managing sales functions to achieving targets. We’re looking for someone who is not afraid to pickup the phone and drive new business! Experience in ATS and CRM software systems. Experience on working with customers both face to face, and phone based.
