Description About the role: Design and maintain automated test frameworks using Python (pytest / unittest) for APIs and backend services Develop and execute UI tests for React applications using Jest and React Testing Library Perform end-to-end testing of user workflows using tools like Playwright or Cypress Collaborate closely with developers to embed testing into the SDLC and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines Analyse test results, identify defects, and drive continuous improvement in system reliability and quality Document test cases, results, and any issues encountered during the testing process. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing. Support manual testing efforts when required to meet project deadlines. Profile A successful QA Automation Tester should have: Automation experience in Backend / API testing and Frontend / UI testing Experience building or contributing to automation framework Experience with Python and Playwright Experience within Python and React environments Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies. Strong ability to context switch across multiple streams of work A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a strong focus on quality Experience working with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
