What this job is about The Senior Finance Analyst (10 month fixed term contract) plays a key role in delivering high‑quality financial analysis, commercial modelling, and business partnering across the Health Insurance business. The role leads the 3‑Year Plan, budgeting and forecasting cycles, and supports the delivery of weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting. It also contributes critical insights through variance analysis, commentary, and financial modelling to support informed strategic and operational decision‑making. The position oversees key month end activities, including P&L reporting, dashboards, project reporting, and preparation of executive and board level content. It also supports longer‑term strategic development through market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and modelling of new initiatives. A strong focus on continuous improvement underpins the role, driving enhanced forecasting processes, streamlined reporting, and the development of automated, customer‑centric business intelligence across the organisation. What you’ll need to make it possible Success in this role relies on strong technical foundations, including degree level qualifications with CA or CPA accreditation and proven experience in finance or commercial analysis. Deep capability in developing commercial proposals, tenders, financial models, and business cases is essential, along with advanced analytical skills across Excel, data analytics tools such as Power BI or SQL, and familiarity with a range of financial systems. The role requires the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, practical insights for non‑finance stakeholders, supported by sound industry knowledge and an understanding of broader macro‑economic trends. Why you’ll love it We support our people to be the healthiest and happiest versions of themselves. From providing initiatives that develop careers to looking after our people’s health, wellbeing and futures. Through the Viva Healthier and Happier program, we’re providing health benefits for everyone who works at Bupa, no matter their role. If this sounds exciting, we’d love to hear from you. Let’s shape the future of healthcare, together. At Bupa your wellbeing, identity, and personal story are respected and valued. We are continuing to build teams that reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. Bupa is committed to providing equal opportunities and fostering a workplace and environment that is free of discrimination, bullying and harassment. We actively encourage applicants from all backgrounds and experiences, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, veterans, people with disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ applicants. #J-18808-Ljbffr
