Position Scope As the Sales Lead for Enervenue, your role will be to lead the company's commercial growth initiatives in the Australia. You will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, developing, and executing strategies to expand the company's market presence, and establishing and maintaining strong partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders. As the first Australia sales resource you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, running the sales cycle, negotiating contracts, participation in conferences, and closing deals. As the business grows, you will be responsible for scaling the sales resource plan. It’s an exciting time for clean energy, and an especially exciting moment to join us at EnerVenue. This is a unique position at a high potential, fast growing, battery storage company. This position will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and will be leading efforts to develop energy storage sales strategy, engage the market, build a high-performance team over time, and be the thought leadership expert for energy storage. The ideal candidate will be self-starting, hands‑on, with a strong network in the industry, supporting clients with goal to meet sales plans, and close large multi-year commitment orders. This is an individual contributor leadership role, that will be responsible for growing internal team after hitting key growth metrics. This role must thrive in an environment of constant change, tight timelines and deadlines, and take ownership of delivery sales. Ensures an on-going superior customer experience for current and potential customers from initial contact to closure and on-going support. Provides weekly forecast of orders, and reports on key items of interest. Awareness and participation in renewable energy technologies trends and corresponding effects on both energy markets and distribution deployment strategies. Manage documenting all activities in Salesforce.com Qualifications A 5 to10 years of sales leadership experience with knowledge of residential renewable energy market. A BS/BA degree in Business, Engineering, or other related discipline is required. A technical engineering degree with high business intellect is desirable. He/She will be able to think strategically and the same time act tactically. The ability to be hands-on and share best practices is critical. Has a demonstrated ability to design a sales strategy, for complex sales cycles, in an early‑stage company is desired. Demonstrated strong communication skills and executive presence combined with high energy to drive sales and meet goals.
