About the Role This is a fixed‑term role to backfill a project need, with the potential to become permanent. The role reports to the Head of Quality and is part of the organisation’s central services team that monitors the quality of care and service provided across a portfolio of homes. The Quality Business Partner identifies and escalates areas of non‑conformance to policies and procedures and builds the capability of home‑based leaders and employees in quality, risk and clinical processes. Responsibilities Identify and escalate risk of care failure relating to non‑conformance with organisational policies and procedures. Build the capability of home leaders in quality management systems and clinical governance processes. Actively support employees to understand and adhere to the organisation’s policies, procedures and Continuous Improvement Framework. Proactively partner with other organisational support services to ensure the home employees are provided with appropriate and relevant support and advice. Assist, advise and problem‑solve within the breadth of their professional knowledge and experience. Assist identification of staff knowledge gaps and support the resolution through delivering appropriate and relevant training in quality, risk and clinical areas. Facilitate training content set by Clinical Development. Induct new Residential Aged Care Managers (RACM), Care Directors (CD) and Clinical Care Coordinators (CCC) to quality and clinical related areas. Qualifications Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in aged care or a clinically related discipline. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role. Strong relationship management and advanced influencing skills. Highly developed written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with key stakeholders. Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Strong organisational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritise multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail. Demonstrated high level reflective and critical analysis skills. Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and Government’s reform agenda. Post‑graduate qualification in Quality or Risk (desirable). Post‑graduate qualification in nursing, gerontology or dementia care (desirable).
