We’re partnering with a leading investment and financial services organisation who are continuing to invest heavily in their Data & Analytics capability and are looking for a Senior Data Solutions Engineer to join their growing team. This role is focused on designing, building and supporting modern data solutions that enable reliable, scalable access to business-critical data. You’ll work across data integration, cloud platforms, data modelling, automation and analytics, partnering closely with both technical and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop and support enterprise data solutions and services Build and maintain automated data pipelines, ETL processes and data workflows Develop API integrations and data sharing capabilities across multiple platforms Design and optimise data models, data marts and storage solutions Support cloud-based data platforms including Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric Contribute to data governance, standards, quality and best practice initiatives Resolve data-related issues and provide ongoing operational support Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions Maintain technical documentation and support long-term platform sustainability Skills & Experience: Proven track record and experience in Data Engineering, Data Platforms or Analytics Engineering Strong SQL and Python development skills Experience building API integrations and data ingestion frameworks Strong ETL and data pipeline development experience Hands‑on experience with Snowflake data warehousing Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud data platforms Strong understanding of data modelling, data marts and data architecture Experience with metadata management and data cataloguing Familiarity with AI‑enabled tooling such as Microsoft Copilot Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Financial services, funds management or investment industry experience highly regarded Experience with STT Alpha or similar investment management platforms highly regarded The Role: Permanent Melbourne-based, hybrid working environment. 3 days a week from office in CBD.
