About the role The Business Enablement Manager in the Office of AI partners with business leaders to identify and shape high‑value opportunities where AI can drive real outcomes. You'll translate business challenges into clear, testable requirements and practical solution designs, ensuring success measures, value, and adoption are defined from day one. Working across the full AI lifecycle from problem definition through to scaled deployment you'll bridge the gap between innovation and execution. This role ensures AI initiatives meet governance standards, are ready for delivery, and are successfully adopted across the business. With a strong focus on engagement, communication, and enablement, you’ll play a critical role in turning AI investment into measurable business value. This role offers a hybrid working environment. Location Sydney (preferred); flexible across other cities in Australia. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & AI Enablement Shape and contribute to the enterprise AI roadmap, driving AI‑powered transformation across business functions Establish and lead the AI enablement function, including governance, standards, and lifecycle best practices Partner with business leaders to identify and prioritise AI opportunities with clear, measurable outcomes Influence AI strategy and architecture, balancing innovation with security, compliance, and scalability Champion AI adoption and literacy across the organisation Solution Design & Delivery Translate business needs into clear requirements and high‑level solution designs Coordinate end‑to‑end delivery of AI solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards Drive adoption of strategic AI platforms, assistants, and domain‑specific AI agents Enable product ownership models and self‑service AI capabilities Ensure AI solutions are integrated with enterprise platforms and knowledge bases Business Engagement & Opportunity Discovery Build strong relationships to understand business priorities and challenges Facilitate structured ideation and discovery workshops Help stakeholders clearly define problems, success measures, and value Align expectations between business outcomes and delivered solutions Adoption, Change & Value Realisation Drive adoption of AI solutions into day‑to‑day workflows Identify and address barriers to adoption Support change management, communication, and engagement activities Track adoption, usage, and business benefits Continuously improve AI solutions based on feedback and outcomes Collaboration with AI Delivery Teams Partner closely with program managers, architects, and delivery teams Provide business context to inform prioritisation and solution design Maintain strong feedback loops between business users and delivery teams About you: Essential: 10+ years' experience in enterprise architecture, business transformation, or AI strategy and delivery Strong understanding of AI technologies (ML, NLP, computer vision, generative AI) and business use cases Broad enterprise technology knowledge (cloud, data, security, applications, modern workplace) Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF) and IT service management Deep awareness of security, compliance, privacy, and responsible AI considerations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). Business analysis / product / change qualifications (e.g., Agile BA, Product Owner, Lean/Process improvement) (desirable).
