This is a leadership role overseeing a team of 8–10 staff across sheet metal fabrication operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for workflow coordination, staff supervision, quality control, production scheduling, machinery oversight, and maintaining efficient workshop operations. This opportunity suits an experienced manufacturing professional with strong CNC machinery knowledge and previous leadership experience within a fabrication or switchboard manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily workshop operations within the Sheet Metal Department Lead, train and support a team of 8–10 workshop staff Schedule and prioritise works to ensure production targets are met Maintain workflow efficiency and oversee quality control standards Previous experience operating and/or overseeing CNC sheet metal machinery including turret punch, CO2 laser and press brake (Mandatory) Coordinate machinery servicing and maintenance requirements Monitor workplace safety and maintain a clean, organised workshop environment Work closely with production and management teams to ensure project deadlines are achieved Skills & Experience Previous experience supervising within a sheet metal or manufacturing workshop Strong CNC machinery experience including turret punch, CO2 laser, and press brake Experience within switchboard manufacturing highly regarded Powder coating experience advantageous Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills Ability to manage workflow and maintain production quality standards Commitment to workplace safety and team development What’s on Offer Full-time long‑term opportunity Strong hourly rates + super Stable workshop‑based role 9-day fortnight Supportive team environment Opportunity to work within a well‑established manufacturing business If you are an experienced workshop leader looking for your next long‑term opportunity within manufacturing, apply now or contact the CrewSELECT team for a confidential discussion. #J-18808-Ljbffr
