You will use your initiative to prioritise tasks and monitor workflow in delivering frontline regulatory operations, aligned to EPA’s strategic priorities, to prevent harm to Victorian communities and the environment from pollution and waste. This is an exciting role for an operational regulator that wants to contribute to the success of the EPA as it enters a new era of environmental protection in Victoria. You will actively contribute to a positive organisational culture and ensure you achieve the highest standards of performance and integrity; and foster genuine partnerships across all levels of government, industry, and community to support the delivery of organisational outcomes. In this role you will: Implement regulatory actions to safeguard communities and the environment through education, compliance monitoring, and enforcement. Contribute to building a high-performing, positive team culture and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Support investigations, deliver preventative projects, and respond to environmental and public health emergencies. Collaborate with government, industry, and community partners to enhance environmental outcomes. Skills and experience Relevant tertiary qualifications and a current Victorian driver’s license are desirable. Strong capability in delivering regulatory operations, understanding government legislation, and applying environmental regulations. Proven ability to manage projects, prioritise tasks, and contribute to a cohesive team environment. Innovative problem solver with a commitment to professional growth and making a difference.
