About the role We are seeking an experienced Centre Director to lead our highly regarded childcare and early learning centre. As the Centre Director, you will be responsible for the overall management and operations of our 65‑place centre, while leading and inspiring our educators and ensuring the delivery of an exceptional educational program and high‑quality care for our young learners. This is a full‑time position. What you'll be doing Providing strong leadership and strategic direction for the centre, aligning with the organisation's mission and values Overseeing the day‑to‑day operations, including staffing, scheduling, budgeting, enrolments, compliance and child safety Developing and implementing high‑quality educational programs that foster the cognitive, social, and emotional development of children Maintaining positive relationships with families, the local community, and regulatory authorities Ensuring the centre adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards Continuously evaluating and improving the centre's policies, procedures, and practices Recruiting, training, and managing a talented team of early childhood educators and support staff Providing mentorship and professional development opportunities for the team What we're looking for Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Centre Director or senior management role within the childcare and early learning industry Thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, and other relevant regulations Proven track record of leading high‑performing teams and driving continuous improvement Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families, staff, and stakeholders A strong and passionate leader who values child safety and wellbeing above all else and whose beliefs and practices align closely with our centre philosophy Bringing a happy and positive attitude that flows through our team Passionate about providing exceptional care and educational experiences for young children Good time management skills and thrives in a busy environment Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care Important to us At our centre, we pride ourselves on providing a supportive, friendly, and positive working environment where educators and leaders feel valued and respected.
