Region: Head Office Number of vacancies: 1 Key Responsibilities: Responsibility1: TECHNICAL SERVICES I. Site/Route selection process/activities for transmission facilities/projects, namely: Substation, HVDC Converter Station, Switching Station, Cable Terminal Station, Transition Tower Station, Overhead Transmission Line route, Underground Cable route, and Submarine Cable route. Assists in the conduct of Desktop Study, creation of site/route composite team among TPD, CMD, ECD, QSED, ROWMD & O&M members and leads composite team during field inspection, research, etc. Secures technical data such as site topography and vicinity maps that are essential in the preparation of site selection report. Provides assistance in the preparation/checking/reviews and in facilitating approval of the site/route selection report of at least 3 best alternative Substation sites/Transmission Line routes that are technically and economically viable with due consideration of environmental/cultural/social factors. Provides assistance during coordination with CPO, ROWMD, QSED and CCPAD on Site Workability Assessment (Level 1 & 2) of final Substation Site. II. Implementation of Engineering Survey Works Conducts the inspection and monitoring of service contract implementation for engineering survey works for transmission projects to ensure quality and on-time delivery of technical data and cost‑effective services. Provides assistance in the review/checking of technical report/data of the survey works to ensure compliance to the contract and specifications. Provides assistance in the preparation of Evaluation/Validation Report of submitted survey reports to ensure completeness and quality of data integral in the design of transmission projects. Provides assistance in the coordination with heads of different divisions, departments and functional groups concerned regarding the details of technical services essential for efficient planning, design and construction/rehabilitation/expansion of transmission projects. Conducts the in‑house engineering survey works and prepares technical report/data. Provides assistance in the preparation/checking/review of factual survey report/data. Participates in the site joint ocular inspection/validation of project site during the bidding and project implementation. III. CAAP Height Clearance Permit Conduct static survey observation of tower sites. Prepare Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) application for Height Clearance Permit of Projects. Responsibility2: TECHNICAL ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES 1. Prepares and submits inspection and accomplishment report of all assigned survey activities on a regular basis for monitoring purposes. 2. Provides necessary information for the preparation of Terms of Reference, Cost Estimate and Purchase Requisition of Geological Contracts and Equipment. Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Geodetic or Civil Engineering Licensed Geodetic and Civil Engineer At least two (2) years of experience in engineering surveys of transmission line and substation projects Proficient in English and Filipino (both oral and written) Able to use Survey Grade GPS, Handheld GPS, Computer #J-18808-Ljbffr
