This is a newly created role to lead national growth across engineered to order and bespoke solutions. This is a technically led sales role suited to someone who thrives in complex sales cycles, enjoys influencing at a senior level and can translate engineering capability into commercial outcomes.What You’ll Love About This Role Nationally scoped role with real influence on growth strategy Highly technical, solutions-led sales environment Strong internal collaboration with Engineering, Operations and Leadership Structured, process-driven business with clear systems and support Opportunity to shape market strategy, product positioning and long-term growth A culture built on accountability, continuous improvement and team success What You’ll Be Doing Drive national sales growth across engineered and bespoke solutions Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting end users, OEMs and industry Manage a mix of key account growth (~80%) and new business (~20%) Lead complex, long-cycle sales processes from concept through to delivery Collaborate closely with Engineering teams on design, scope and technical solutions Develop pricing strategies that balance competitiveness and profitability Strengthen relationships through client engagement, presentations and industry events Lead national sales planning, reporting and performance reviews Monitor market trends, competitor activity and identify new opportunities Support product strategy, launches and ongoing portfolio development What You Bring Mechanical/technical aptitude (Mechanical Engineering qualification highly regarded) Proven experience in technical or engineered solutions sales Background in materials handling, lifting equipment, manufacturing or similar Strong commercial acumen with experience managing margins, pricing and contracts Ability to navigate long sales cycles and complex stakeholder environments Experience working closely with engineering and production teams Strategic mindset with the ability to execute and deliver results Confident communicator with strong influencing and relationship-building skills What’s in it for You Competitive salary package National role with autonomy and ownership Strong team culture with high retention Ongoing development and career progression Exposure to major industries and complex engineering solutions A business that genuinely values structure, performance and its people Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a cultural survey and a face-to-face interview, proceeding to a full pre-employment medical (including D & A) as part of our recruitment process.
