Benefits Work with an experienced team Large Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Scientific Laboratory Environment Training and development opportunities Career progression opportunities Work close to home Free Parking Day-to-Day Responsibilities Routine analysis of raw materials and finished products by GC & ICP Review analytical data Perform out-of-spec investigations Data entry General laboratory housekeeping Maintain consumable item stock levels Qualifications 3–5 years experience in a similar role Formal qualification in chemistry or a related discipline Experience with Agilent OpenLab CDS (2.6) software: running sequences, launching data analysis, processing/reviewing data, creating custom calculations Ideally, GMP/GLP experience and familiarity with Agilent 7697a Headspace or similar, 8890/7890 GC or similar and 5977B single quadrupole MSD or similar Strong attention to detail Clear understanding of chemical safety Clear understanding of good laboratory practices Ability to work autonomously and in a team Excellent communication skills Effective time management skills Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel It will also be beneficial, but not essential, to have experience in Waters instrumentation troubleshooting and maintenance.
