Overview We are working with a federal government department that’s looking for a Security Engineer to join their Cybersecurity Operations team asap. Security Engineer – Federal Government | NV1 Required Responsibilities Analysing which platform logs actually have security value and making sense of them Building monitoring use cases that target the most important risks Designing alarms and alerts to enable speedier response Qualifications NV1 security clearance (or eligibility) – Australian citizenship required Strong regex skills and experience writing custom parsers A background in security analysis and monitoring Experience with SIEMs like Sentinel or LogRythm Familiarity with ISM/PSPF standards This a great opportunity to join a team that is doing some great things.
