The Role An opportunity exists for a Mechanical Maintenance Trade Supervisor to join the Ulan West Development team. Key Responsibilities Effectively plan and supervise mechanical maintenance to ensure the safety, availability, reliability and performance in the development area of the mine, particularly on Joy 12CM30 miners, Sandvik MB650 miners, Joy 10SC42 shuttle cars, Joy FCT, Joy DMU and Joy FB14 feeder breakers. Liaise with shift supervisors, tradespersons and operators regarding the condition and performance of equipment. Contribute to the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives regarding development mechanical engineering systems and procedures on site. Determine and organise parts, labour and equipment to undertake maintenance plans and major breakdowns. Provide technical advice, assistance and development of high-quality mechanical tradespeople and apprentices. Qualifications Minimum three years of experience in an underground coal environment. Mechanical Trade, Diploma qualification or Mechanical Engineering degree. Strong technical understanding of maintenance practices on development equipment. Ideally have experience in supervising a maintenance crew. Well-developed communication and problem-solving skills.
