Sr Technical Recruiter-APAC @ Carecone, Australia Hiring for F5 Architect - Sydney Description Role: F5 DNS Security SME Location: Sydney Key Responsibilities Architect, configure, and deploy F5 DNS solutions and BIND DNS, including Cache Resolver and Authoritative DNS. Lead DNS migration projects, ensuring seamless transition from legacy systems (BIND DNS) to F5 platforms. Implement advanced DNS security features, such as DNSSEC, rate limiting, and query filtering, to safeguard against DDoS attacks and other vulnerabilities. Optimize DNS performance and scalability to support high availability and low latency requirements. Conduct health checks, monitor DNS infrastructure, and troubleshoot complex DNS issues. Collaborate with cross functional teams, including network, security, and application teams, to align DNS solutions with overall enterprise objectives. Document DNS architectures, configurations, and operational procedures for compliance and knowledge sharing. Required Skills and Qualifications 10+ years of proven expertise with BIND DNS and F5 BIG IP DNS, including Cache Resolver and Authoritative DNS modules. Strong understanding of DNS protocols, DNSSEC, Anycast, and Recursive/Iterative DNS query handling. Hands on experience with DNS migration, load balancing, and traffic management in large scale environments. Familiarity with DNS security best practices and defence mechanisms against DNS based attacks. Strong documentation and communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts effectively. Preferred Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in network security Strong knowledge of firewalls and DNS Security platforms Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent Strong analytical, risk management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
