We’re looking for a highly experienced M365 Operations Lead / Senior Engineer to act as the technical authority for Microsoft 365 operations across multiple environments. This role sits at the pointy end of platform stability—owning complex escalations, leading major incident response, and ensuring Microsoft 365 services remain reliable, secure, and well supported. You’ll provide deep technical expertise across the M365 stack while uplifting operational maturity through strong documentation, runbooks, automation, and stakeholder communication. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, enjoys problem solving at scale, and takes pride in operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Act as the final escalation point for complex Microsoft 365 incidents across Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, Defender, and Purview Lead major incident response, problem management, and root cause analysis for M365 service outages or degradation Support and manage escalations with external M365 vendors, ensuring accountability and timely resolution Develop, maintain, and continuously improve runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation for L2/L3 support teams Drive operational stability through automation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives Required Skills and Competencies Deep hands‑on operational experience across the Microsoft 365 platform in complex or enterprise environments Strong PowerShell automation skills, with exposure to Microsoft Graph, workflow tooling, and ITSM platforms Excellent communicator who can translate complex technical issues into clear, actionable guidance Strong operational mindset with a focus on reliability, security, and uplifting team capability We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and promote equality and diversity.
