Area Strategic Planning Manager – Sydney Your Key Responsibilities Market Demand Planning Drive Planning & Information processes including strategic plans and scenario analysis at the business unit level Provide challenge and guidance on demand forecasts submitted by local markets Analyse IMS, SHP & OFF trends on a consistent basis for relevant end markets Regularly analyse market and sales trends across key end markets Incorporate market sensitivities in coordination with End Markets, guiding multiple priorities and deadlines across diverse markets Conduct risk analysis, sensitivity testing and benchmarking Collaborate with internal teams to monitor financial targets, improve return on investment, and perform forecasting Preparing & Reporting Monthly Activities Analyzing high‑level summaries of market performance, summarising monthly positions for actuals Analyse industry positions and report trends and movements by coordinating with the End Markets Management of Planning Cycle Reporting Prepare documentation and reporting materials for planning cycles, presentations and analysis for leadership and finance reviews Partner with operations, marketing, regulatory affairs and strategy teams Planning Data Repository Maintain robust Area dashboards to support decision‑making Regional Submissions and Meeting Minutes Review and validate inputs, compile meeting minutes and updates for upcoming planning sessions Ad hoc and Analysis Requests Reporting Deliver reports and analysis requested by region and other partners on an ad‑hoc basis Strategic & People Leadership Capabilities Align forecasts with regional/global goals, anticipate industry shifts, and drive strategic decisions beyond reporting Act as a trusted business partner, fostering collaboration, accountability and developing high‑performing teams with varied strengths Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Economics, Finance, Business Analytics, Accounting) or related field Professional qualification preferred (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACCA); MBA is an advantage Minimum 5 years of planning and/or finance experience, preferably in a multinational or regulated industry Experience leading planning and information operations across multiple countries Strong business partnering and excellent communication skills Full working rights with no restriction Benefits Market‑leading annual performance bonus (subject to eligibility) Benefits package varies by country and includes diverse health plans, work‑life balance initiatives, transportation support and a flexible holiday plan with additional incentives Access to online learning platforms and personalised growth programmes to nurture leadership skills Continuous improvement within a transformative environment, preparing for ongoing changes Equal Opportunity Employment We are a global top employer committed to an inclusive workforce.
