Develop and expand the knowledge of the team, including taking a lead mentoring role for Project Coordinators. Site Management Manage the site construction activities to ensure the most productive use of available materials and construction resources (internal and external). Ensuring that all processes comply with approved procedures, work method statements & safety management plans. Thoroughly understand and monitor trade scope of works, programme and the relevant components within the tender process. Inform the Project Manager of issues likely to have a substantial impact on operations and recommend changes in design details. Maintain professional relationships with clients and their representatives, sub-contractors, relevant authorities, delegates, and consultants. Work, Health and Safety Operate sites with a best practice approach to health and safety by observing, demonstrating and enforcing safe work practices. Ensuring and managing compliance with environmental legislation, regulations, licensing conditions and sound work practices. Ensure that site setup is maintained in accordance with the code of practice. To be successful, you will need: 5 + years’ experience as a Site Manager. Experience in detail-orientated bespoke projects. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills - ability to build relationships with internal & external stakeholders. Comprehensive understanding of the building codes and guidelines. Ability to drive projects to meet deadlines on time and on budget.Proven experience effectively managing a team including sub-contractors. Good understanding of health and safety requirements and their application. Previous exposure to Procore is an advantage.
