The site focuses on competitive pricing and local service seeking a reliable and motivated Store Person to join our team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities: • Unload deliveries safely and efficiently • Inspect incoming stock for accuracy, damage, and quality • Record and report any discrepancies or damages • Organise and maintain warehouse and storeroom inventory • Label, categorize, and store items in designated locations • Ensure stock is rotated according to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or overstock • Pick and pack orders accurately and in a timely manner • Prepare items for dispatch, ensuring correct packaging and documentation • Conduct regular stocktakes and reconciliations • Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems • Assist with audits and reporting as required • Operate pallet jacks, trolleys, and other warehouse equipment safely • Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues • Maintain a clean and safe working environment • Always follow workplace health and safety procedures • Handle hazardous materials safely and follow relevant protocols • Assist sales and retail staff as needed • Support colleagues with stock movement, replenishment, and merchandising • Provide excellent internal customer service to team members and managers • Assist with warehouse and store organisation projects • Perform ad hoc tasks as required by the supervisor or manager • Continuously look for ways to improve workflow and efficiency Requirements: • Previous experience in a similar role (minimum 1 year) • Good physical fitness and ability to lift items • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ultra Petroleum Gilgandra is committed to maintaining efficient operations and high service standards across our site.
