Co-located next to Petbarn, the facility features three spacious consultation rooms, a dedicated surgical theatre, a separate dog ward, digital X-ray and ultrasound, a full in-house laboratory, and fear-free design elements throughout. We are seeking an Experienced Full-Time Head Nurse to lead our nursing team, support our veterinarians, and help shape clinic culture while maintaining exceptional clinical standards. Responsibilities Lead, coach and mentor our Vet Nurse team Build and maintain a positive, cohesive and motivated team culture Manage daily workflow and support a high-functioning clinical team Undertake general nursing tasks, including pre- and post-operative care, animal pathology, and emergency and critical care Take initiative to enhance clinic efficiency and operations Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to maintain gold-standard patient care Handle client inquiries professionally in person, via email, and over the phone What we’re looking for Cert IV qualified in Veterinary Nursing with 3+ years of clinical experience Experience coaching, mentoring and developing nursing teams A strong, supportive leader who motivates others Calm, friendly and confident in a busy clinical environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Flexible, adaptable and collaborative Organised, proactive and committed to high standards Familiar with Rx Works (desirable but not essential) No two days will be the same, but you will have the support of a dedicated team and wonderful clients who make the job rewarding.
