The Role Assistant Manager at Dr Martens Melbourne Central . You will work side‑by‑side with the Store Manager to support a team of casual team members, driving sales and KPIs, coaching the team, and delivering world‑class customer service. Responsibilities Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, KPIs, and maintaining visual merchandising standards. Motivate and inspire the team to deliver outstanding sales and customer experience. Monitor and analyse store sales performance daily, weekly, and monthly, celebrating wins and identifying growth opportunities. Coach and mentor team members, driving high morale, ongoing training, and succession planning. Oversee stock levels, store organisation, shrinkage control, and operational excellence. Qualifications Previous experience as a senior casual, key holder, 3IC, or supervisor in a high‑volume retail environment. Proven ability to lead a team and deliver strong sales and KPI results. A proactive, hands‑on leader with a "Make it Happen" mindset. Strong communication skills and a passion for coaching others.
