The position provides operational leadership in contract management, quality assurance, audit preparation, data integrity and performance reporting, ensuring all education delivery meets ASQA Standards, the VET Quality Framework, and funding body requirements. The Lead acts as the organisation’s operational expert on contract compliance and reporting, supporting Education Managers, teachers and administrative teams to maintain consistent, accurate and high‑quality compliance practices. The Lead also assists the Senior Manager in improving systems and processes that underpin organisational accountability and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Implement and monitor compliance systems to ensure programs meet compliance, quality and performance requirements according to relevant regulatory frameworks across all education contracts. Provide operational leadership in contract management, quality assurance, audit preparation, data integrity and performance reporting. Maintain consistent, accurate and high‑quality compliance practices across the organisation. Assist the Senior Manager in improving systems and processes for organisational accountability and continuous improvement. Qualifications & Experience Degree in Education, Business or similar field AND at least 3 years’ experience in adult education compliance, performance, or quality management, including some leadership experience in VET/Foundation studies. Proven educational leadership in the development, accreditation, delivery and evaluation of accredited courses and qualifications and vocational pathways framed around the diverse needs and aspirations of CALD client groups. Comprehensive knowledge and strong understanding of government funding contracts, ASQA Standards, VET Quality Framework and other relevant regulatory frameworks, standards, procedures and regulatory requirements, and ability to interpret them for others. Demonstrated ability to manage a team to achieve performance targets. Highly developed analytical and written communication skills, including development of guidelines, procedures and templates, policy analysis, briefings and management performance reports within required timelines. Competence in generating, analysing, interpreting complex performance related data sets and presenting accurate compliance and performance reports. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, databases, web applications, use of AI tools, and ability to learn and train others in Information Systems. Proven ability to manage audits, compliance registers and contract documentation in the adult education sector. Proficient in the use of student management systems and Microsoft Office/BI reporting tools. Sound analytical, problem‑solving and process‑improvement capability. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining systems and procedures supporting quality service delivery. Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong initiative and organisational skills, prioritising workflows to meet multiple deadlines, maintaining effective manual and electronic records.
