About the Company Our client is a well-established and respected organisation operating across the broader financial services sector. This division oversees a broad portfolio of investment products and structures within a highly regulated environment. About the Role Due to increased workload and evolving reporting requirements, the business is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to support the function across financial reporting, governance, audit and compliance activities. Fund accounts and financial statements are prepared externally, with this role responsible for reviewing outputs, ensuring accuracy and maintaining high standards across reporting and governance processes. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical capability, excellent written communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in a demanding environment. Key Responsibilities Review externally prepared fund accounts and financial statements Support month-end and year-end reporting processes Assist with AFSL and APRA audit requirements Prepare board papers and reporting packs for senior management Support compliance and governance activities across the division Liaise with external service providers, auditors and key internal stakeholders Assist with evolving reporting requirements driven by recent leadership changes Provide technical accounting support across ad hoc initiatives and projects About You Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience Background within financial services, wealth management or funds environments preferred Experience preparing or reviewing complex financial statements Exposure to regulatory reporting, audit and compliance processes Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment This opportunity is well suited to a first mover from the Big Four at Manager or Senior Manager level, or an industry-based finance professional with strong technical capability and financial services exposure. #J-18808-Ljbffr
