Director of Sport & PDHPE (K-12) We are seeking an outstanding, values‑driven leader to serve as our Director of Sport & PDHPE (K-12). This significant leadership opportunity will shape a dynamic, inclusive and future‑focused program that nurtures students physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually. About the Role Reporting to the Deputy Head of Co‑Curricular, the Director will provide strategic and visible leadership across all aspects of Sport and PDHPE, ensuring alignment with the School’s Christian vision and enduring purpose. This is a unique opportunity to lead and shape a co‑educational K‑12 Sport and PDHPE program that inspires every student to flourish. Key Responsibilities Articulate and deliver a compelling K‑12 vision for Sport & PDHPE that reflects the School’s Christian ethos and whole‑person formation. Lead and develop expert staff and coaches, fostering a culture of excellence, care and faith‑informed practice. Design and lead cohesive K‑12 pathways, from foundational participation through to high‑performance opportunities. Embed programs that promote wellbeing, respectful relationships, servant leadership and character development. Lead a high‑performance sport framework grounded in integrity, humility and teamwork. Cultivate strong, authentic partnerships with families, parishes and the wider community. Provide strategic stewardship of facilities, resources and operations, ensuring sustainability and future growth. About You You are a seasoned educational leader driven by purpose and a deep belief in the transformative power of sport and wellbeing within a Christian ethos. You Will Demonstrate A personal commitment to the Christian faith and the capacity to actively support and model the School’s Anglican identity and values. Proven leadership experience in Sport and/or PDHPE within a K‑12 or comparable setting. Strong strategic, future‑focused planning capability. Deep understanding of student wellbeing, development, safeguarding and duty of care. Demonstrated success in leading curriculum and co‑curricular innovation. Experience in managing facilities, resources, budgets and external providers. Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and manage vendors effectively. Success in developing participation and high‑performance pathways. Excellence in relational leadership, team development and stakeholder engagement. Capacity for innovation, anticipatory thinking and continuous improvement. A recognised teaching qualification and eligibility for teacher accreditation in NSW. Additional Requirements Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness and ability to acquire one in NSW. Commitment to child safety and the wellbeing of all students. Willingness to support the life of the School, including co‑curricular and weekend sport commitments. Child Safety Staff must maintain a child safe culture, act in every child’s best interest and keep them safe from harm, in accordance with the School’s policies and procedures. All new staff must sign a written statement or complete an electronic acknowledgment that they have read and understood the Child Safe Policy and the Child Safe Codes of Conduct prior to commencing employment.
