The Team Join our growing Accreditation Preparation Team in the Clinical Governance unit of Clinical Quality, Regulation and Accreditation at the Department of Health. The team is dynamic, located in Hobart CBD, and focuses on leading a safe, high‑quality, patient‑centred health system guided by evidence, continuous improvement and collaboration across the health system. The Role Coordinate a work program that contributes to remediation activities and system‑wide improvements to address identified issues consistent with the requirements of the relevant national standard for the public health service. Liaise, consult and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders regarding local needs and priorities to inform policy development and quality improvement initiatives. Develop education resources and provide education as required to support the implementation of quality improvement and accreditation preparation initiatives. Based in Hobart, travel within Tasmania to conduct onsite accreditation support, education and assessments as required. You will need Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and experience of program management, and understanding of national health service accreditation standards and current healthcare system. High‑level analytical, conceptual, strategic, research and creative skills and the ability to apply these within political, industrial and organisational environments. Proven ability to apply rigorous project management methodology in managing a broad range of projects to meet agreed time, cost and quality outcomes. Details of appointment Permanent, full‑time day‑worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight (hours negotiable). Commencing as soon as possible. For a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar vacancies. Salary $118,297 to $125,543 per annum (pro‑rata). Superannuation 12% on top. Salary range is consistent with the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. Post‑graduate allowance of up to 10% may apply based on qualification type.
