Role Details The Strategic Finance at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner on a temporary basis. Responsibilities Work closely with the Director of Strategic Finance and Management to provide financial management expertise, supporting the delivery of complex, high‑risk, multi‑disciplinary innovative projects. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategic and operational outcomes by providing business‑focused performance data and analysis to identify improvement opportunities and implement change. Monitor the overall financial position of the reporting entities within MHHS and report on significant variances. Apply a high level of interpersonal, analytical and management skills to navigate the financial project lifecycle in accordance with accounting standards and financial management principles. Maintain a strong understanding of the analysis and synthesis of health‑related data to inform and support decision making. Support the facilitation of the budget management process, forecasting, and funding assessments to effectively support compliance and performance.
