This is not a traditional law firm role. An opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Senior Property Lawyer to join a high-performing property and infrastructure team working at the forefront of some of Victoria’s most significant renewable energy and infrastructure projects . The work is sophisticated, complex and genuinely interesting. You’ll advise on major land access and infrastructure matters, negotiate directly with landowners, government bodies and top-tier counterparties, and play a key role in projects helping shape Australia’s transition to net zero. The ideal background will include strong Victorian property law experience, ideally gained on large-scale infrastructure , development, energy or compulsory acquisition matters. Experience in complex commercial negotiation, development or construction-related projects will also be highly regarded. This role will suit a senior lawyer who enjoys being trusted with responsibility, can hold their own in high-level negotiations, and values autonomy, flexibility and a modern way of working over hierarchy and titles.
