At Sonder, we provide 24/7 real‑time safety, medical and mental health support for workplace members via a mobile platform. Our Response Network delivers in‑person assistance when needed, supported by a central Support Centre. About the role We are looking for a Casual Sonder Responder based in or near Alice Springs to join our on‑call roster. The role involves responding to incidents, supporting colleagues and members, and collaborating with the Response Network Manager to enhance service delivery. Responsibilities Provide emergency and non‑emergency on‑site support responses as required. Engage stakeholders, nurture partnership relations, and assist in training. Contribute input to operational procedures and network management. Work a flexible 24‑hour on‑call roster, scheduling availability and receiving remuneration for on‑call hours and incident response. Qualifications Recent or current experience in Australia in emergency services, military, law enforcement, security or mental health sectors. Strong local network of contacts and ability to assess critical situations and recommend next steps. High level of self‑awareness, motivation and self‑management; ability to set priorities and make quick decisions with interpersonal sensitivity. Demonstrated empathy and a drive to help others; confident in decision‑making under pressure. Ability to work a flexible on‑call roster.
