Overview Application Support Engineer – Integrations Team. Global Technology Company with a 12 Month Day-Rate Contract role with a high likelihood of extension and potential conversion to permanent employment. Hybrid work arrangement: 2 days per week in Sydney CBD office, 3 days work from home. Responsibilities Work as part of the Integration Team in Sydney to troubleshoot customer queries and issues. Respond to tickets and escalations from customers. Provide support to users/administrators of the company platform via phone and Teams. Contribute to the evolution of best practices for the delivery of support services in the organisation. Develop understanding of the company platform, cloud technologies, and troubleshooting practices to ensure successful resolution of challenging technical situations. Qualifications Must have 2+ years of experience within either an application technical support or software development environment. Experience with JavaScript / Java / PowerShell development skills for writing and troubleshooting; ability to read, write, and debug basic JavaScript code. Strong knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory, SSO or other authentication/user management systems (e.g. Azure AD, Okta, SAML, SiteMinder). Strong understanding of email infrastructure (e.g. Exchange, Office 365, Postfix). Advanced knowledge of web services (SOAP, REST). Strong knowledge of OAuth and OIDC. Experience providing SaaS/PaaS support. Fundamental understanding of ITIL framework. Advanced knowledge of web applications stack components. Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle). Experience using Linux/Unix or Microsoft Server. Experience using tools like Splunk/Wireshark and understanding common SaaS cloud and on-premises infrastructure components. Experience with data extraction technologies (e.g. JDBC, ODBC) or ETL integrations. Additional Information Rostered work week, typically 7:30am-3:30pm or 8:00am-4:00pm.
