On behalf on one of our clients, a highly respected blasting services company, we are seeking experienced Field Service Technicians / Fitters on a permanent basis to work on projects throughout the Pilbara and Goldfields Region. Salary & Benefits Permanent Position – Multiple Sites (Lithium & Iron Ore) 8/6 Roster FIFO Perth First class site facilities and accommodation A company that offers genuine opportunities for career progression About the Role Perform repairs and maintenance in line with original equipment manufacturer specifications and requirements on heavy road transport vehicles – MPU’s, Light Vehicles, Tele-Handlers, Augers and Pumps and other fixed plant Carry out HSE responsibilities, including implementing and maintaining safe systems of work covering planning, personnel, equipment, and change management Collaborate effectively with the maintenance team to achieve the maintenance plan and priorities set by the Maintenance Supervisor or Leading Hands Work with the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Manager to ensure high-quality maintenance is carried out to maximise asset availability Maintain plant performance, including availability, breakdown management, and backlog control, and assist with implementing corrective and preventive actions when required Requirements to be considered for the role Australian recognised Trade Certificate Experience in the maintenance of Heavy Road vehicles. Mobile Processing Unit’s and fixed plant Sound mechanical / electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic aptitude Experience with stationary power plants, Auger systems and pumps Experience in fault finding with a practical understanding of low voltage electrical systems and automated safety control systems Experience with Pronto to maintain and update records and information within the maintenance system Possess a valid manual HR Drivers Licence Possess a valid Dangerous Goods Security Card (DG) Hold a valid Forklift Licence (LF) Have or be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance Be willing to undergo a Pre Employment Medical & DAS Able to obtain a full security clearances Unsupervised Explosive Handling licence First Aid certification (desirable) To apply , please follow the prompts to submit your application.
