What you’ll do As an Associate Mechanical Engineer within our Property and Building Services team, you will play a key role in delivering innovative and efficient mechanical design solutions across a range of single and multi‑disciplinary projects. This position offers the opportunity to lead smaller projects, contribute to larger initiatives, and actively support the development of junior engineers. Provide mechanical design expertise on single and multi-disciplinary projects Deliver best practice and outcomes for clients, saving on costs and time Take lead on small to medium size engineering design projects and support larger projects Communicate effectively with all external and internal stakeholders and project teams Be a supporting figure and mentor for lesser experienced engineers Build solid client relationships and recognize business development opportunities (desirable) Represent and promote the business with the local and regional markets About you Hold a recognised Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical Engineering. Demonstrated expertise in designing mechanical services systems (air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems). Circa 10+ years experience as a Mechanical Engineer Have the ability to coordinate and understand relevant building services disciplines, including Electrical, Hydraulic, Fire Protection, and Environmentally Sustainable Design. Proven project experience in the building services sector across a range of large projects Possess a working knowledge of Australian building codes and standards Ensure registration (or eligibility for registration) in the professional engineer register of the relevant state for the building/construction industry.
